Dr. Abeer Aldoghaither (PhD '15) has been selected to receive the prestigious Association for International Education Administrators (AIEA) Award for Presidential Leadership in Comprehensive Internationalization.

The V60 Awards celebrate the accomplishments of visionary women leading climate and sustainability efforts in the Middle East. Among 11 KAUST recipients are 7 graduate alumnae.

KAUST alumnus, Dr. Hesham Omran, won the UNESCO-Al Fozan International Prize for the Promotion of Young Scientists in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) on June 19.
