KAUST held its 15th annual Convocation on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 welcoming a new cohort of students to the university. The event provided an opportunity for incoming students to connect with KAUST’s leadership, staff, alumni, and current students.

During the ceremony, KAUST alumnus Marcelo Benitez (PhD '23) delivered an inspiring speech, sharing valuable advice and insights from his time on campus. He encouraged the new students by saying, "As you embark on this exciting journey, remember that KAUST is the bridge between your dreams and where you stand now. Seize every opportunity to be the best version of yourself and make the most of your time here. Time is one of your most valuable resources—use it wisely!"
