Research work by KAUST students Abeer Alamoudi and Qi Huang was recently selected as the second-prize winner of the 2022 IEEE ComSoc Student Competition "Communications Technology Changing the World."

Shahad's research at KAUST focused on developing on-demand drug delivery systems using stimuli-responsive nanocarriers with diverse sizes, architectures and surface properties to deliver drugs in spatial-, temporal- and dosage-controlled fashions.
