Eduardo Gorron, a microbiologist from Colombia and an alumnus of the KAUST Chemical and Biological Engineering program, speaks with Ben Stevens as part of a special Sciencetown series on personalized medicine. Gorron, who visited as part of the 2020 Winter Enrichment Program, is studying for his Ph.D. in the area of recombinant protein production at The University of Queensland, Australia. He is currently involved in a project to produce recombinant collagen and strategies to engineer human collagen to enhance wound healing and other healing processes in the body.
