In the heart of Riyadh, KAUST alumni gathered for an exclusive networking event to welcome the University's new president, Professor Sir Edward Byrne AC. In his opening remarks, Sir Byrne emphasized alumni's pivotal role as KAUST moves forward with its new strategic vision. He recognized alumni as thought leaders and ambassadors, driving KAUST's mission to create meaningful change in Saudi Arabia and beyond. He reinforced KAUST's commitment to deepening alumni relations and expanding collaborative opportunities with the Saudi industry.
A highlight of the evening was the inauguration of the newly elected KAUST Saudi Chapter Committee, now led by Babar Khan and a presentation by the National Institute of Transformation on the KAUST Industry Collaboration Program.
