Alumni Affairs hosted an autumn lunch for alumni, friends and family in London. It was the first gathering since 2018, during which time the alumni community has increased in size by 150%.

The lunch, co-hosted by Alumni Affairs, Admissions and Student Recruitment, and KAUST’s European Alumni Chapter, gave alumni the opportunity of connecting with each other while also hearing the latest news from the university.

This was the fourth in a series of international events organized by Alumni Affairs in 2022, with the objectives of reconnecting with alumni post-pandemic, identifying prospective volunteers to support a range of international initiatives, and establishing a global alumni network through regional alumni Chapters.

“The UK is one of our larger international alumni communities, and it’s increased dramatically in size since our last visit. KAUST’s global community of alumni go on to some outstanding career and academic opportunities, and these in-person events give me a chance to hear more in-person about the impact of KAUST alumni,” said Lea Sublett, Manager of Alumni Affairs.
